Problem

Alinta consolidated 320 staff from six sites around the Sydney CBD to Homebush

Solution

CFS surveyed existing storage, calculated the GAP (the difference between current and existing storage), CFS identified a 35% GAP. CFS proposed and implemented the following

A series of Cleanup Days Review and circulation of File Retention Schedules Development & implementation of uniform Paper Archiving & Retrieval System Scanning of appropriate documents Conversion to Shelf Lateral Filing where appropriate Labeled filing & storage prior to move for removalist to facilitate relocation process

Result

Alinta moved successfully, all teams had adequate storage and were able to operate effectively in their new space using new methods, systems, policies and procedures.
