Problem

Hatch consolidated 4 sites in the Brisbane CBD. The Project Team required input on Filing & Storage requirements for the various teams (700 staff).The Teams storage requirements affect the density of the workstation layout and the effectiveness of the teams operations at the new site

Solution

CFS audited each team’s current storage and process. CFS prepared a report outlining issues related to filing & storage. CFS calculated the GAP the difference between current requirements and planned requirements. CFS then proposed a strategy and methodology to reduce current filing & storage, which was partly implemented by CFS & HATCH

Result

HATCH relocated their 700 staff all teams were prepared for the move to their new location their filing and storage. New systems required were implemented and filing and storage was reduced to fit into the new location
